The Designer Who Breaks Every Rule

What happens when an interior designer stops following the trends and starts designing around the people who actually live there?

In Chapter 1 of our series with 30A Design Group, designer Paulette DeGraw takes us inside one of her projects and shares the thinking behind creating a home that reflects the client, not the designer.

For Paulette, great design isn’t about following someone else’s rules. It’s about form, fit and function, understanding how a family lives, and making every decision feel intentional.

30A Design Group provides full-service interior design, new home construction, whole-home renovations, commercial design and project management for clients in Florida and across the country.
